Week by week updates, the changes, the emotions, and the wait to meet our little one.

From the very first positive test to the final countdown, every week brought something new, a flutter I didn’t expect, a craving that made no sense, a wave of tears over nothing at all. This is where I’m keeping it all: the body changes nobody warns you about, the milestones that felt too big to hold, and the quiet moments of just talking to the little one growing inside me.
It wasn’t always easy, and it definitely wasn’t always graceful, but it was ours. Scroll through and follow along, week by week, as we counted down the days.

The day everything changed, our story of meeting our baby for the very first time.

Nothing could have prepared me for that day, not the classes, not the books, not the hundred stories other moms had shared. It was harder, longer, more overwhelming, and more beautiful than I ever imagined. And then, in one single moment, all of it disappeared the second I heard that first cry.
Here, I’m sharing both sides of it: the practical part, everything we packed, planned, and prepped before the big day, and the personal part, what it actually felt like, moment by moment, as we became parents.

Notes from early parenthood — the wins, the challenges, and everything in between.

Nobody tells you that the hospital sends you home with a tiny human and zero instructions. The first days were a blur of sleepless nights, endless diaper changes, and a love so overwhelming it scared me a little. This is where I’m keeping track of it all, the exhausting parts and the magical ones, often happening in the very same hour.
From figuring out feeding and sleep schedules, to celebrating every tiny milestone, the first smile, the first time she slept through the night, the first time I felt like I actually knew what I was doing (even for five minutes). This is our real, unfiltered journey of learning how to be parents.
